You’ve probably heard of coco yam, Taro, or Colocasia esculenta, which is the botanical name of coco yam, but not many people know about health benefits of coco yam and its leaves. this is what coco yam can do for your health.

1.Diabetes:Coco yam and diabetes have a strong connection:numerous studies have revealed that coco yam has very little starch grains, which makes it a perfect source of carbohydrates for diabetic patients. One study has also shown that flour made from coco yam also has the ability to prevent or alleviate diabetic nephropathy.

2.Immune system:The first health benefit of coco yam leaf you need to know about is its incredibly high content of vitamin C. One cup of coco yam leaves will give you up to 90% of your daily vitamin C needs. This amount of vitamin can give your immunity a boost,which is especially useful during the cold season or if you’re prone to various infections.

3.Digestion: If you’re having digestive system issues, make sure to include plenty of coco yam into your diet.This plant is famously rich in dietary fibre, which can significantly aid your digestion.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
